Gracie Mansion, or the Archibald Gracie Mansion, is the official home of the Mayor of the City of New York. The mansion was built in 1799 and overlooks the Hell Gate channel of the East River. Gracie Mansion has had a lot of appearances in pop culture, with cameos in movies like The Taking of Pelham 123, Ghostbusters II, and City Hall.
