Brooklyn
The Brooklyn Historical Society, or BHS, was established in 1863 and is part museum, part library, and part educational center. The building itself is a work of art in the Romanesque Revival style in Brooklyn Heights. The building today is a National Historic Landmark. The museum contains a permanent collection, temporary exhibits, and hosts many students throughout the year. Here are some of the "must see" items at Brooklyn Historical Society.
